Video - Freshly Out The twins are still a few minutes old and covered with vernix. Thats what gives the aromatic pleasant smell to all newborns . Vernix Caseosa is a white cheesy material that covers newborns in the womb . It protects them from the amniotic fluid in many ways . Without it the skin becomes wrinkled . It also protects them from infection . Its beneficial to let it be on the newborns for some time before washing them off . Its been 2 days and we are still in the hospital . Dr Halina is doing well up and moving about . Breastfeeding has already begun every 2 hours . That means sleepless nights for her . We try to do as much skin to skin contact with the twins . These are critical times for bonding to develop - from our voices and touches . Most of the time Dads do not know what to do and just leave everything to Mommy . Its important for Dads to get involved during these precious times by cuddling them , cooing them , changing their diapers and many more . Babies could sense the presence of loved ones which will benefit in the long run . Just sharing ... Salam Everyone Love As Always PS - We are still undecided with their names . Any suggestions ? How I wish I could replace Dr Halina This is the 2nd time wife has to go under the knife . But one thing I'm certain . It's all worth it once the babies come out . The smell of the Baby ... Video - Kasih seorang Ibu It saddens me to see Dr Halina leaving the 4 kids behind to be admitted to the hospital . It bleeds me even more seeing the love of our kids clinging to their Mommy not wanting to let go . Just for a few days B, T , A and N InsyaAllah we will bring back two tiny siblings for you to cherish and love ... We are blessed with beautiful kids with beautiful souls , loving , caring and affectionate . Video - Leaving to the hospital The Babies Room is ready and complete . TQ D'interieur for the beautiful Wallpaper TQ @babyhoodmalaysia for the beautiful Vogue Glider. Loved them . Alhamdulillah - Just in time . Dr Halina will be admitted today for a C-Section tomorrow morning at 0900 am . Its whats best for the mother and the babies . We were advised to deliver the twins as early as last week but managed to hold on upto 35 weeks. In the case of pre eclampsia - the only treatment is to deliver the babies . Its just too risky to wait longer . We chose Friday 20.11.20 hoping it will be a Baraqah for Everyone . May Allah make everything at ease . Do pray for Dr Halina & the upcoming twins Everyone ... Amiinn ... Love As Always PS - I'm prepared physically, mentally & psychologically ... PSS - Be strong my LOVE . Video - Babies Room final touches It was nice of Bella , Tasha , Adam & Noah to donate their plush toys for the upcoming twins. Didn't realise they have so many of them . You can tell which plush toys belong to whom . The kids are super excited waiting for the new arrivals . Salam Everyone Love As Always PS - I noticed some of the plush toys gotten less today . Someone must have changed their minds. Haha - and I bet it was Tasha .. 😄
